The visit with a lecturer guide
Discover the alignments of Carnac, in the company of a guide who will take you to one of the main sites and help you understand the history of this multi-millennial site and learn about the latest archaeological hypotheses.

Duration : 1 hour approximately Depending on the calendar. Visits are proposed during school vacations. Many schedules in French and foreign languages in high season.
The free visit
Visitors can discover the alignments from the outside, by walking along the megalithic path around the sites. The Maison des megalithes (reception and starting point of the visits) will allow you to prepare your visit as well as possible: presentation video, digital mediation, exhibitions (free access)

Possibility of a small loop (around Ménec). Intermediate circuit up to Kermario (1.2 km). From Ménec to Kerlescan (about 1h-1h30) about 3,5 km.
The family visit
During the school vacations, visits for families are offered to understand what constitutes the largest group of alignments in the world. Explained to young and old alike!

Visits to be followed in family. Children from 6 years old.
Family workshops
Prehistoric gestures workshops are proposed during school vacations to discover, after a visit, the techniques used to lift or move the stone blocks as Neolithic men would have done.

The heritage classes are currently being renovated. The workshops are not offered during this period of work.
