Guided tour at the heart of an Alignment
Discover the Alignments of Carnac, in the company of a guide-lecturer who will take you to one of the main sites and help you to understand the history of this multi-millenary site and learn about the latest archaeological hypotheses. Summer 2025 : Guided tour in English : everyday 3.30 pm until 22th / from 23th to 31th of August : 1.00 pm

Duration: approximately 1 hour. Depending on the calendar, tours are available all year round and every day during school holidays. Many timetables in French and foreign languages in high season.
The free-access trail around the Alignments
You can discover the Alignments from the outside, with free access, by walking along the megaliths trail laid out around the Alignments. The Maison des megalithes (reception and starting point for the self-guided tour) allows you to prepare your visit at your own pace: video presentation, digital mediation, exhibitions (free and open access).

Free trail. From the Alignements du Ménec to the Alignements de Kerlescan (approx. 2h), 3.5 km one way. Possibility of a 700 m loop around the Alignements du Ménec (accessible to PRMs). Intermediate circuit from the Alignements du Ménec to the Alignements de Kermario (approx. 45 mins-1 hr), 1.5 km one way. Dogs allowed on leashes on the trails.
Family tours
During the school holidays, tours for families are available to help you understand what makes up the largest group of alignments in the world. Explained to young and old alike!
