The Maison des Mégalithes is closed on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th.

Please ask for information about the visiting hours with a guide in the alignments.

Free access to the pedestrian path around the sites

The ticket gives you access to the conference visit with a guide on one of the main sites.

How to get there
BY CAR

From Auray : direction Carnac - Quiberon - dept. 768 until the Purgatoire traffic circle then take dept. 119 direction Carnac

For the Maison des mégalithes, follow Alignements du Ménec.

Auray station then bus to Carnac

Services and conditions of visit

  • Dogs on leash allowed on the paths around the alignments
  • Dogs not allowed on guided tours and in the reception building.
  • Strollers are not recommended in the sites (ground not passable).
  • Drink dispenser at the Maison des megalithes.
  • Ice cream parlour during the summer season (on the roof terrace or the square)
  • Free parking at the alignments - reserved for visitors
