Offer of visit & prices

Reduced rate for the conference visit with a guide for the disabled person and his or her companion, upon presentation of a valid proof of entitlement (Mobility and Inclusion card for the French public), or organization certificate (groups).

Free access to the Maison des Mégalithes (reception area and introduction to the visit). Some sites of the Alignments are open to free visits from October to March.

By reserving your tickets in advance, you will have less waiting time. Children 18 and under receive free admission.

Lecture tours for individuals (1h)

  • Special public rate: 6 €.
  • Ask at the reception desk about the adaptation of the visit.
  • Online booking or purchase of tickets at the Maison des megalithes at least 30 minutes before the start of the visit.

Groups on reservation

Up to a maximum of 20 people, proof of identity required.

  • Visit-conference (1h): 40 €.
  • Educational workshop (2h30): 60 €.

Facilities to help the visit

Carnac accessibility area for all

  • Tactile models (aligned menhirs, Kermario dolmen, Manio mound).
  • Multimedia terminal (introduction to the visit) with adapted sound content.
  • Carnac Alignments tour books in Braille, large print and relief iconography.

Terrace of the Maison des Mégalithes

Good to know

  • Guide dogs are allowed in the Maison des Mégalithes and in the Alignments of Carnac.
  • Closed shoes and seasonal clothing are recommended for outdoor visits to the alignments.
  • Toilets in the parking lot.
  • Toilets available in the Maison des Mégalithes building (July and August).

Parking

Parking is free for individual visitors holding a GIG or GIC badge or a "European parking card".

Maison des Mégalithes (reception building)

Two parking spaces are reserved 50 meters from the entrance of the reception building.

Alignment of Ménec (route du Hahon)

Two parking spaces are reserved.

Alignment of Kermario

  • Two parking spaces are reserved.
  • Secured and adapted path on 120 meters

Access

  • The Alignments are accessible depending on the state of the ground (ask at the reception).
  • The House of Megaliths is on the same level. The terrace is accessible by an elevator (reserved for people with disabilities).
  • The paths of circulation in the Alignments are not equipped. It is recommended to come accompanied (safety and comfort of visit).
