Please wear suitable clothing and closed-toe shoes when visiting the Alignements. Dogs are not permitted on the tour.
Whether with family or friends, come and discover the history of the Carnac Alignments with a guide. Set off to learn about the men and women who shaped the landscape 6,500 years ago and designed structures that still fascinate and intrigue us today. Spend an hour immersed amongst these stones, which are thousands of years old, and let yourself be whisked away on a journey back to prehistory…
You can explore the stone alignments from the outside by walking along the designated paths. Also, from October to March, some sites are freely accessible. Please enquire at reception, as access is subject to change depending on the presence of sheep and ground conditions.
Please do not attempt to climb over the fences if the site is closed, as it is closed for a good reason: the presence of the flock, protected areas or areas requiring vegetation to regrow, for the preservation of our heritage and out of respect for the teams who work on the sites every day.
